Westminster has over 100,000 creative jobs, making up 15% of all the jobs available within the City, and APA works to support City Lions in helping open young people’s eyes to these amazing opportunities, raise their aspirations and build an inclusive work force.  

They help people aged 13-16 who live in the Westminster area gain access to some of the borough’s most inspiring cultural organisations, including companies in our membership.

Creative Industries Week is an annual event where local kids visit a range of companies in the heart of the city and have their first tastes of what a creative workplace looks and feels like. 

The 2021 event will be taking place between Monday 5th & Friday 9th July 2021 and we’re keen for our members to get involved.  

City Loins are looking for a range of face-to-face (COVID restrictions dependent) and virtual event participants. 

You can: 

• Facilitate an online Q&A session to provide an insight into your industry and role. 
• Host an interactive workshop to help build young people’s creative skills. 
• Speak at a school assembly about the careers in your industry. 
   
  The City Lions will be able to support you in creating your content and insuring you hit the right points etc.
