Now, more than ever, production companies need to be making meaningful connections with prospective clients.

So once again, we have teamed up with The Future Factory to offer you a one-off free ‘New Business’ online training workshop in conjunction with our current Direct to Brand training series.

We had a very successful workshop which took place on 19th July 2022 with over 80 member companies and we decided to host another for all of you who missed it! The next session will be held on Wednesday 3rd August | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.

This workshop has limited capacity so please register below as soon as possible.

The Future Factory is a leading business development consultancy that helps creative businesses win new clients. They’ve worked with many of London’s top production companies and several APA members, helping them form direct relationships with top-tier brands and agencies.

This workshop has been adapted from The Future Factory’s most popular training course to give you the confidence and practical techniques to make cold new business approaches to both agencies and brands in a nuanced way, build a pipeline of opportunities and arrange new business meetings that contribute to the growth of your company.

Suitable for anyone who wants to have a stronger new business pipeline, from Director’s Reps, New Business through to Head of Sales.

The areas covered in this session will include:

  • Free resources for finding decision makers’ email addresses
  • Where to find insights that will help you to make your approaches more targeted
  • All the elements a successful new business email should contain
  • Tips to increase cut-through (subject lines, best times to send)
  • A group discussion of some real life new business emails
