Posted in Events, Front page, News, on December 19, 2023
Last week we looked at the increasing opportunities for APA members from the growing number of brands who have in house functions- which need production partners.
Hosted by the APA training team Rhona Glazebrook and Janet Markwick, we were joined by Jimena Seoanne, Head of Production at Draftline Europe, Patrick Burgoyne, Co-Founder at the In-House Agency Leaders Club, Robert Black, Head of Brand, Communications & Omnichannel Marketing at M&S Food and David Russell, Director of Collaborative Thinking LTD for their insights.
Is it time for us to revisit China?
We have done a lot of work in China with APA trade delegation events in Shanghai 2007, Beijing 2009 and Shanghai 2015 all creating work for APA members who were part of it. Is it time to go back? How open is China now to working with companies from abroad? Julian Douglas, International CEO of VCCP oversees their office in China and has recently returned from Shanghai and pitches for new business there. Dougie shared his valuable insights and the short answer is yes, China is open for business again. That is something we will be building on for APA members next year.
Recording of this talk is available to APA Members only.
