Celebrating Black Creatives! | The APA Talent Showcase 2024

The APA and our members are committed to increasing the representation of talent from groups that are currently underrepresented in the commercials production industry. Following the success of our first APA Talent Showcase evening in July 2023, we are holding a second showcase on Wednesday 13th November. 

For this year’s event, we are celebrating Black creatives as part of an APA Black History Month initiative.

On the night, we will start with a showcase of outstanding work from our talent network, followed by a presentation from The Kusp, who are one of our DEI Partner organisations. After the presentation, the rest of the evening is left for guests to network. There will also be a number of our DEI partner organisations in attendance so you can meet with them and find out how you can get involved with their initiatives.

In whichever way you are choosing to celebrate Black History Month, at the APA we believe BHM provides a unique opportunity to raise awareness about the contributions, challenges, and achievements of Black creatives from various cultures and walks of life. BHM is an inspiration for our ongoing commitment as a membership rather than suggesting that this awareness matters for only one month.
