On Wednesday 13th November, we held our 2024 Talent Showcase: Celebrating Black Creatives, as part of an APA Black History Month initiative.
Talent, APA members, and DEI organisations gathered at Framestore & Company 3 to connect, network and watch some great work from underrepresented talent.
The Showcase included work from a range of roles, such as; producers, directors, VFX artists, editors, and hair and make up artists.
It was a pleasure to see such varied and amazing work. If you missed the event, or wish to watch the showreel again, it is available to watch via the button below.
Black History Month inspires our ongoing commitment as a membership to raise awareness of the contributions, challenges, and achievements of Black creatives from various cultures and backgrounds. After the reel screening, Amos from The Kusp presented on how his company is creating opportunities for underrepresented talent in London and the wider UK, focusing on talent development and sourcing.
