This live, interactive workshop uses videos and case studies to move beyond the basics of negotiation (delivered in the “Introduction to Pricing and Negotiation” webinar) to help you strengthen how you plan and manage a successful negotiation from start to finish.
The course includes how to manage different stakeholders, assign roles, what tactics you might keep up your sleeves, how to identify ‘walk away’ points and reach a successful outcome.
We will cover ‘HOW’ you get paid for all the additional work production companies typically do for brands today that agencies used to do, including Creative development, Strategy and Planning amongst other new roles.
You will explore real-life negotiation scenarios faced by production companies today, learn more about the role of procurement and pick up tips and tricks for successfully negotiating with brand teams for a win-win.
During the workshop you’ll complete your own Negotiation Planner, which will serve as a handy tool to share learnings with your wider team.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Create a negotiation game plan
- Understand the role of procurement
- Protect your value in a negotiation
- Get paid for roles you deliver that the agency used to perform
- Use key negotiation tactics
This workshop is run by trainers with experience in negotiation at C-suite level in both production, client and agency organisations. There will be an opportunity to submit questions before and throughout the session, key documents will be available afterwards.
