Role overview

The Colour Producer will be responsible for the project management of colour grading jobs, overseeing projects from beginning to end and making sure that Time Based Arts high standards are met with each and every job. The ideal candidate will have production experience within the post-production industry, great communication and organisation skills and a genuine enthusiasm to present TBA’s outstanding colour projects to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the EP of Colour to manage the workflow and schedules of the colour department whilst working alongside the wider production department. The grading department works across a broad cross section of work covering commercials, promos, short films, TV shows, feature films and everything in between.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

●  Managing multiple projects at varying stages of production simultaneously from beginning to end, from quoting through to delivery.

●  Identifying risks and issues early on and providing a fast and adaptive solution.

●  Tracking actuals on projects and managing budgets with clients.

●  Working closely with the colourists and assists and helping to manage their schedules.

●  Collaborating with the rest of the colour team to allocate necessary resources for each project and tracking this data within CETA.

●  Working closely with the VFX team to establish workflows on each project.

●  Managing invoices and billing with Accounts.

 

The ideal candidate would have:

●  2 plus years experience in production; all areas of post production considered.

●  Knowledge of the colour grading process and where it sits within the wider VFX pipeline.

●  Good CETA and Google Suite knowledge.

●  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●  Experience with quoting and scheduling.

●  Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.

●  Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines with confidence.
